After the past two years of our annual summer lunch being held online, we finally managed to hold the event at Manor Farm in Wharram Le Street, thanks to Richard and Kate Megginson who kindly offered us their garden as a venue.

The event was very well attended, and our guests very generously bought lots of raffle tickets. We were able to top the amount up with our funds, and present a cheque for £3000 to Kevin Hutchinson from Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Kevin is pictured with John Harrison, one of the organisers, Lion President Pauline Lowry, and fellow Lions Nick Simpson, Jim Lowry and James Lindenberg. Thanks are expressed to Lion Russ Grimshaw and Lion Richard Hopkinson who also helped John Harrison with the planning and setting up but were unable to make the presentation.
